Unique Headers not working with Elegant Themes. Can you provide the code snippet that should be inserted (presumably into the Header.php file) so this plugin will work?

In order to use this plugin the WordPress Custom Header must be enabled.
This may or may not be in use with the Elegant Themes option.

I can't provide help in that much detail sorry. Hopefully Tim's advice will guide you in the right direction though.

I'll be adding better instructions into the next release which will hopefully make it a little more obvious how to set it up in themes which don't already support the WordPress custom header functionality.

    Tim's solution does work.
However, I need to conditionally display the custom header since i do not have a custom header on every page. Any ideas on how to include a conditional If statement that checks for the existence of the custom header image for the given page (or post or category, etc.)?

What is the scenario where the header doesn't exist?

In your case do you need to specify a default header and then in the case you have assigned a custom header - this custom version is shown instead?
