I run a multisite where all sites use the Divi theme, and see that this plugin is underlining everything with a link (headers, buttons, links, etc.)

I disabled on plugins on a staging site and I can see that this plugin is the only cause. Any recommendations on what I should do?

Is support for this plugin not available? It’s been a week since I posted and haven’t heard anything.

Hi, I just responded to you via email. It looks like (after viewing your site source code), that divi is adding the underline style.

Can confirm this same thing is happening on our Divi site. When Simple Sitemap Pro plug-in is activated, all linked text, buttons, etc. are being overwritten with “text-decoration: underline;” Deactivating the plug-in fixes the issue.

@ceceet what did you end up doing to fix this?

I’ve requested access to the Divi theme so we can test to see what’s going on. Currently waiting for a reply.

    Hi David,

In searching around more, it turns out it was a WordPress core update that was adding the CSS. I’ve used the add_filter workaround from the bottom of this support article to fix: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-6-1-update-forces-underline-on-links/

It is still strange though that activating and deactivating the SSP plugin would cause the issue to show and not show respectively.

    Cheers!

I didn’t find a solution, unfortunately. I ended up switching to a different sitemap plugin because I couldn’t find anything in the settings that was causing it on Divi, but disabling the plugin seemed to be the solution. Not the best work around since I have this happening on 30+ client sites, but I’m going to check out the article you listed. I tried to look for something in WP that could be causing it, but no luck.

This plugin is causing the Divi issue. I have just found and tried simple sitemaps, does what I want but it also messes up the Divi themes website by adding underlines to all links. I have seen the Astra / WP 6.1 fix that does work but not sure yet what other effects that will have. I am concerned that this plugin causes this to happen, and comments above are more about pushing the solution elsewhere instead of fixing it, which puts me off considering a pro version. This plugin appears to be causing the Divi inline CSS to be in a different position, so the removal of the underline by the Divi code is before the code its neutralising.
