  • Hi Josh
A small bug with the shortcode button. Using the latest UTMCE on 2 sites so far, one one the shortcode button has gone from the editor..
On the other, when it’s enabled, the editor completely disappears. (only html view available)
Still got sites to update, so will see how it works with those
Plugin still gets my ‘works; vote and max star rating…

    Suggestion for upcoming versions:
It would be great if the optional buttons could also be assigned to row 3 and 4 – instaed of the top row (div-clear, NextPage) Hyperlink is where it needs to be – next to the default ones.

I have heard a few different issues with the shortcodes. Most of them have been resolved one way or another. Keep me posted as to your findings.

Regarding the other buttons. I agree. They kind of “slipped” in there after I had already written the first, original buttons.

I’ll get these moved and add a row select to them.

    Sounds good Josh
Will let you know if I find any other instances of the shortcode issue. Will also let you have a list of plugins in use, themes (for the problem sites) etc when I’ve done the rest of the updates -might be of some help. Might be GD star ratings – that’s one of the common plugins on both sites so far. When I finish the other sites I’ll try disabling this one etc

Found something on one of the sites mentioned (
Looks like a plugin conflict with Ninja Page Categories and Tags:
    Extract from error log (/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-tinymce/shortcodes-editor-selector/error_log)
[02-Jul-2012 13:02:26] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare ninja_pages_section_cats_desc() (previously declared in /home/graphgwi/public_html/tech/wp-content/plugins/ninja-page-categories-and-tags/basic-settings.php:15) in /home/graphgwi/public_html/tech/wp-content/plugins/ninja-page-categories-and-tags/basic-settings.php on line 16

I’m using this plugin on both the sites where the shortcode button isn’t showing so there’s a common factor
Just updated a clients site not using that Ninja Page plugin, (thesis theme unskinned) and works there.
