[resolved] Make image less dark? (5 posts)

    The plugin works fine, but when you're using your own background image, the plugin is using some fancy CSS to make the image fairly dark. Is there some CSS to tweak that will lighten things up a bit?

    It uses Twitter Bootstrap Modals http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/javascript.html#modals

    You should be able to find the css property with Chrom dev tools as well.

    Here's the answer.

    Edit the file:
    ./template/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css

    Find this line:
    .modal-backdrop,.modal-backdrop.fade.in{opacity:0.8;filter:alpha(opacity=80);}

    IE uses "opacity=80" while all other browsers use "opacity:0.8".

    Lower the values to make the image brighter.

    Where would one find ./template/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css?
