[Plugin: Types – Custom Fields and Custom Post Types Management] Types — Created Custom Post Types.

  • So I have created Custom Post Types. Called “Events”. Assigned custom fields to them.

Now I want to include these custom post types in my theme. So, in the category page, I want to loop through the custom posts of “Events” and show all the fields: title, content, plus the custom fields.

This is really the most basic application of this plugin.

Yet, there’s no documentation of this at all on the website. On this entire page: http://wp-types.com/documentation/ — the only thing I find useful is the “Types Fields API” (strangely worded…why an API? It’s the bloody first thing I want to do with the fields I setup…to show them otherwise what use are they!) and yet nothing about “Custom Post Types Display API”.

So: how does one set up the loop through the custom post type and show all the entries?

    Thanks.
