Broadcasting, sending posts to twitter is something else then posting already existing tweets. Both require authenticating, that’s right, but something is going wrong in the specific link of the twitter account and the wordpress profile, which is a social part. Authenticating in the general social settings or general twitter-tools settings works fine. Would be nice if some of the developers has something to say about this!! We are only “guessing” now.
The twitter-digest plugin has not been updated since 2011, does it still function and keep functioning in the future?
As of rotating tweets, twitter.com has now the timeline javascript in their settings. In the widgets settings of your twitter account create a widget. Just put the code into a post of your wordpress installation and you have a live, refreshing timeline of your tweets, very nice!
This problem still is not resolved, so it would be nice if this issue is set to unresolved.
Tweets are just not imported into the wordpress installation. Rather buggy combination of plugins, sociable and twitter-tools. Some people succeed, others won’t. It’s time to find another working plugin or combination of plugins.
