• There seems to be a limit of only one twitter-widget per blog in twitter-tools. While hard-coding twitter-tools into the page and post sidebars is possible, many themes (also professional ones) then make you hardcode _everything_ else as well, which is not very flexible.

Is there any plan to add multi-widget support to twitter-tools, so one can have it both on front page, sidebar_post and sidebar_page in the future?

Also, would it be an idea to add a custom config parameter to the widget setup (once multi-widget is implemented 😉 ) to customise the number of tweets shown? (ie show 3 on front page, 4 on sidebar_post and 5 on sidebar_page).

Anyone else would find this useful?

Responding to my own wish, what would be ideal would be if Twitter Tools could get the same multi-widget functionality as “Twitter Widget Pro”, in that it has great flexibility and can be used multiple places, and uses cacheing in order not to flood twitter.com.
    Thoughts?
