When using the current version of the plugin with a non-optimized WordPress install, both MySQL and Apache increase system load until the server is no longer responsive.
System RAM is exhausted usually within seconds of creating a post, which then causes the system to swap… and swap… and swap.
This seems to occur regardless of configuration.
Using Debian Squeeze with Apache 2.2, MySQL 5.1, PHP 184.108.40.206 + suhosin, all coming from the Debian repositories themselves.
