Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to twitter.com:80 (Unknown error) in D:\Domains\mydomain.com\wwwroot\wp-includes\class-snoopy.php on line 1142

    The plugin seems to be creating the above warning.
    How do I fix the plugin so it works correctly?

    I’m getting the same error. WP 2.6, Twitter Tools plugin.

    I’ve been getting this error periodically as well. Not sure if I had it fixed before a server restart or if it’s just coincidence.

    I’m able to dig, nslookup, ping, wget..etc on twitter.com:80.
