I’ve been using AKTT for quite a while without incident, but it seems with the latest upgrade to AKTT1.2b1 or WPMU 2.6.1 (I can’t tell which), I’ve lost the ability to change settings for this plugin. By settings, I mean settings on the Options panel for the plugin. The Widget works just fine.
The problem I’m having, specifically, is that the password is not changing when I try to change it through the Options panel. If I do it directly through the database, the changes happen fine and everything works.
I’ve tried scanning the code to find somewhere that the plugin is making direct queries of the database (since, using WPMU, a direct call to wp_options wouldn’t work and is the most obvious answer to why the settings aren’t changing), but I’m not having any luck figuring out what’s going on with it. Here’s what I have figured out:
I can change the password in the dB as stated, and it works fine. However, if I go back to the Options panel, I find that the form has somehow magically filled in the password field with an old password. If I save the form, the old password gets reset into the database. I have no idea where AKTT is pulling that old password from, but it’s consistently replacing the correct password with the old one.
Can anyone help me, here?
