    Hobbsy, you’re welcome! Twitter has a max-width for oEmbed data which is 550px, that’s why you can easily go anywhere lower than that, but not wider. Otto’s snippet in the comment replaces the width of the embed iframe by filtering the oEmbed result. You can try it that way, or you can go with CSS, just make sure you use !important rules.

    I also think wider tweets don’t look that neat 🙂 Thanks for your feedback!
