    Simple problem really: Twitter user avatar images display as 15px by 48px in IE8, but correctly as 48px by 48px in Firefox (and Safari on the iPad).

    Is this fixable, without trying to work out where in the code the problem is (there is a lot of code in there)?

    (I did try and ask this on the GetSatisfaction site, but couldn’t log in without giving the site access to my live.com email contacts; and even then it wouldn’t work. Bad form all round, but lucky I have no contacts to share).

  • To fix this IE 8.0 weirdness, you’ll need to hack the plugin CSS. So in 3.3.15 go to the plugins directory > tweet-blender > css > tweets.css and find a.tb_photo img. Then comment out the width line.

    So it’ll be something like this:

    a.tb_photo img {
    	margin-right: 4px;
    	/*width: 48px;*/
    	padding: 3px;
    	border: 1px solid #ddd;
    }

    That should then make the avatars appear square at normal size.

    Sorry for my tardiness in thanking you for your reply – it does indeed do the trick.
