Several months ago I created a couple of playlists and inserted them with shortcodes into pages. Those playlists worked and still work today. The format of the shortcode is
    [tubepress mode=”playlist” playlistValue=”PL4F828D14EC1BD553″]

Today I created another playlist and inserted it on another page and it does not work. Tubepress defaults to the playlist that is on the Tubepress “Which videos?” tab under setup.

The new shortcode looks like this
    [tubepress mode=”playlist” playlistValue=”PL2CMChNPaubdbJrLcBkMvqYy7iiH-K_KX”]

I noticed that the new Youtube Ids are longer and also contain lower case letter and other characters (dashes/hyphens) that didn’t seem to exist before.

I tried to remove the PL as suggested by some others here but that did not work.

Anyone else have this problem and find a solution? or is this a known tubepress issue with these longer Youtube ids?

Please test the fix described here. If you can confirm this fix works, I’ll push it into the mainstream of TubePress. Thanks!
