    im trying to get XSPF flash player to work within a page and i'm aware that this is very difficult. i have all the plugins which supposedly enable commands within a page, but none have worked.

    i am told that i can make a template so that it will work. i cant have any of the other pages of my site altered and seek assistance in solving this problem.

    the instructions of the plugin say that i can simply include the line:

    < ?php xspf_player::start('Rapnews'); ?>

    but this just displays as text.

    My website is http://www.rapnews.co.uk and any help is much appreciated. Thanks

    You need another plugin to allow you to run php code in a Page. I use PHP Exec at http://priyadi.net/archives/2005/03/02/wordpress-php-exec-plugin/, but there are others.

    If you are using PHP in a page, make sure you haven't have a space between the opening < and the following ?

    You may also want to experiment with the plugins own tag, as they are mentioned in the readme.txt: <xpsf>start()</xpsf>

    The RunPHP plugin does not accept the usual <?php tags. You may want to change your tags or try my more standard compliant plugin "Exec PHP": http://soeren-weber.net/post/2005/08/18/50/
