Are you certain you don’t have multiple copies of the woocommerce-de_DE.po file? or are looking at a similar string? * Please tell me which WooCommerce string is not saving. * [martinbhold](https://wordpress.org/support/users/martinbhold/) * (@martinbhold) * [7 years, 10 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-translation-not-syncing/page/2/#post-10476765) * Correct, it does not make it to the disk, however it DOES update the date/time information – so I know for a fact that it opens the file. * As long as LOCO plugin is active, the string sticks, even after multiple syncs. If I go back and click on “Home” for example, and reload Woocommerce, the same starts over again, like it never stored the string. * one of the strings I’m trying to translate is “Cart totals”, originating in woocommerce. pot line 24760, located in plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages. When creating a new language, Loco suggests the _“Custom”_ location.
