# Plugin translation not syncing

* Hello.
* I need to translate the woocommerce part where it says “Showing all %d results”.
* The problem is that i don’t have this string in my woocommerce translation.
* If i go in woocommerce translation settings, the plugin give me an alert where
tell me to sync the translation because there are new things. The problem is
that sync is not working, and i don’t have this string.

* One more thing, if i go on the source tab, i see the string i need:

* A failed sync will either (1) show an error (2) show a success, or (3) hang forever
with visible animation. I don’t understand how “nothing” can happen. Do you get
any errors in your browser console?
* I also don’t know how a string could be visible in the source tab, but not in
the editor. They both use the same file parser. Your example is a plural. Are
both forms missing, or just one?
* I’m going to need to see this for myself. Can you please provide a download link
to whatever it is you’re translating.

* If you don’t see this message, I have no idea why. Possibly some conflict with
another plugin, but I’d be making wild guesses.
* As for your missing string “Showing the single result”. I can find this in my
version of WooCommerce. I can’t say why yours is not present. Is it present in
the POT file? What version do you have installed?

* My only remaining suggestion is to disable all other plugins and switch to a
stock theme. If the problem goes away then there was a conflict.

* I changed the limit, now i don’t have the error but the problem still exist.

* What did you change to see the warning?
* Why are you syncing with source code at all? WooCommerce ships with a valid POT
file. You should sync your PO files only with that.

* I just clicked the sync button and i’ve seen the error.
* I haven’t done anything different, i didn’t know there is an option to sync with
the source code.

* You said before that clicking sync did nothing – no message – then suddenly it
shows the file warning. That means /something/ is different from your first report
to your second.

* POT (template) files always sync to source. (you should not be editing POT files).
Your PO files will sync to the WooCommerce POT file. See the [manual page on templates](https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/manual/templates).
* The only time a PO file will sync to source code is when there is no POT file
configured. WooCommerce is compatible with Loco Translate and should automatically
sync your PO files to its POT file (which contains your missing string). This
means you should never see the “skipped file” message. So are you syncing your
PO to the POT, or the POT to the source? Is the bundle configured correctly?
Have you changed any settings? Can you post your XML config from the Advanced
tab? (button at the bottom)
* As it’s very difficult to see what is wrong, please consider posting a screen
capture of your issue taking place.
