 * Hi
    How do I translate this plugin into another language? My question is also
   about other addon plugins.
 * I use a child theme and I want to do the translation into Polish.
 * I tried to edit simple-membership-pl_PL.po file and nothing changed. Of course,
   I changed .mo file accordingly.
    Moreover, in simple-membership-pl_PL.po file,
   many strings are already translated into Polish but still, a translation doesn’t
   appear in the frontend.
 * I’d like to have translation files outside core plugin files (not to be changed
   during update).
 * What should I edit, where should I put it?

 * Hi,
 * Just to confirm with you. How many strings does the Polish po file has?
 * Thank you

 * Is your site set to Polish in WordPress admin settings?

 * In actual fact there are 607 strings. You need to update the simple-membership-
   pl_PL.po from the simple-membership.pot file. The following documentation [create-a-wordpress-plugin-or-theme-translation-using-poedit](https://mbrsolution.com/wordpress/create-a-wordpress-plugin-or-theme-translation-using-poedit.php).
   can help you.
 * Thank you

 * Yes, my site language is Polish. Selected in the backend as well.
 * I have no idea, why there is a difference in a number of strings. Maybe the most
   recent translation is not included in the newest plugin distribution? Anyway,
   it should work regardless of the number of strings, shouldn’t it? Why do you
   think translating all strings from scratch would be useful?
 * There is another interesting fact with translation. Some strings (specific to
   plugin) appear translated into Polish but when I change them in po/mo files,
   they don’t change. Where do they come from?

 * Hi,
 * > Anyway, it should work regardless of the number of strings, shouldn’t it?
 * Yes that is correct.
 * > Why do you think translating all strings from scratch would be useful?
 * No, that is not what I meant. I shared the documentation above as a guide. If
   you read towards the bottom of the documentation you will notice two locations
   for the po and mo files. Please check the guide and try moving your po and mo
   files to the other location. Let me know if this helps you.
 * Thank you
