Plugin to list only selected posts in the sidebar

Hi there,

I am trying to find a plugin compatible with 3.3.2 that allows me to create a list of “featured” posts for easy reference.

It must be me because I cannot find anything that would do it, but it must exist. 🙂

I do NOT want to have sticky posts, but just a list (like the list of most read posts or most commented posts, etc.) of selected (by me) posts in one of the sidebars.

Also the list would have posts from more than one category within my blog.
