# Plugin to customize outgoing links

 * I am looking for a plugin that can help me overall on the the fact 1.
    **1.**
   _I want to have the full control about referal links over the various platforms
   and change them in case without needing to edits multiple posts because one only
   link changed_ and as consequence 2. to “short-linking” the outgoing links (something
   like: mydomain.com/?l=62dew78) 3. to monitor outgoing traffic
 * not needed: adding some notes to the links in order to remember me what they 
   are without needing to explore them by clicking
 * Is there anything that can help me doing so?

 * 1. If I understand correctly, you’d like to define your links in one place and
   then reference them wherever needed, so that when there is a change you only 
   need to update the main/master link. Personally I’m not aware of a plugin that
   does this but it seems like a great idea! We might take a look at doing this 
   😉
 * 2. You might be looking for URL shorteners. There’s quite a few here: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/url+shortener/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/url+shortener/).
   However, I see that you put `mydomain.com`, so your domain and server will be
   the one that has to read `?l=62dew78`, understand it, and redirect appropriately.
   If you use one of the URL shorteners above, they will take care of `mydomain.
   com` and use whatever they have.
 * 3. Monitoring outgoing traffic is an interesting thing! If you are already using
   a system like Google Analytics, you can create events that track link clicks.

 * thank you for your reply. I’ve checked that plugin previously but it wasn’t anything
   I was looking for.
 * I found Linker [here](https://github.com/KingYes/wp-linker) which does exactly
   what I needed.
