Support » Plugins » Plugin to accept logo variable per page

  • The site I’m working on has 5 brands they want under the same website but each brand they want a different logo in the header.

    The simple way I started doing this is using CSS like:

    .page-id-2,
    .parent-id-2 {
    .navbar-brand { background: url(path-to-image.png) no-repeat; }
    }

    And so on. This works. This is easy. Done deal. However, in case anything in the future changes because one ID gets altered and everything is going to fail, I wanted to see if there was any kind of plugin that could handle this without having to do too much coding.

    Ideally, this would be a plugin where I could identify a brand, add a logo, and then reference that brand on every page that’s completed. I’m already doing something similar with the menu that changes per brand in wp_nav_menu with ‘menu’ => get_post_meta($post->ID, ‘MenuName’, true) and this handles switching the menu just fine on all pages but there is a manual component to the operation where a user has to add a custom field and enter the MenuName. Preferably I’d like to just have the user identify the brand and it’s always linked if possible.

    If not, I’m not going to lose sleep over doing it the way I am now.
