Is there a way to override the plugin’s display of default icons? I would like to use my own custom icons. I can replace the default icons in the plugin folder on the server with my own icons, but then I’ll have to remember to re-upload my custom icons at each plugin upgrade. I’d prefer not to do it. Is there some filter hook I can use in my functions.php? Any help would be appreciated.

Heya – I’m the developer of Tipsy Social Icons.

There’s no actions or filters than you can use (though that’s not a bad idea!) to change the icons, but you can override the image files.

To do this, locate the images directory and then replace the icons in 16 and 32 with whatever you’d like to display.

    Hope this helps!

    No problem – and thanks!

Hi. I successfully uploaded tipsy icons to my wordpress plugins and activated it. I’m not a developer so I thought there would be a non-code interface with which to interact. I only see Editor, which is all code. Is there any other way to see, select and create custom URLS for social icons? Thanks.
