Remove default styles from drop-down (4 posts)

How can I remove the default styles that show in the drop-down styles box? I only want it to show my custom styles.

I already added my custom styles and they show correctly. I just want only my custom styles to show, so I need to get rid of the ones that display at the top of the list:
    aligncenter
    alignleft
    alignright
    wp-caption
    wp-caption-dd
    wpGallery
    wp-oembed

Same question here. Nor can I seem to add new options - perhaps because I have a child theme?

Andrews reply to my post here should work for you too as it will only display the classes you add - the default classes are not displayed.

I did some investigating myself into removing the default styles in v3.3.1 and it is not easy. It appears that Styles takes it's default list from a variety of locations. So to remove the list, comment them out of their respective css files:

    wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wordpress/css/content/css
    wpGallery
    wp-oembed

    wp-includes/js/tinymce/themes/advanced/skins/wp_theme/content.css
    aligncenter
    alignleft
    alignright
    wp-caption
    wp-caption-dd

Do not comment out the mceIEcenter class which is in the middle of the 2nd list above.
    Thanks...
