I just installed this plug in and something very strange happens in the rich text editor now: when I click on a button, up comes a window that says it is a htm file and it wants to download it. Any idea why? I'm using the latest version of wp and twenty eleven theme. Hope you can help! Thank you so much.

That's strange indeed. Does that happen for all buttons that open popup dialogs? Also, can you look at the request in Figebug (on the Net tab), and copy and paste the response headers here (be careful not to include any cookies from the request header when pasting, only the response header is needed).

I know this is an older post, but I just ran into this problem as well and solved it. Since there was no solution posted here, I thought I would add my solution which might help someone else.

My problem was my ISP Apache configuration was only set for html files, and not htm files. Since it was an unknown file type it tried to bring up the download window. The simple solution was to add the following line in my .htaccess file to tell the server to parse htm files as html.

    AddType text/html .html .htm

Thanks @sjs.dogsrule. That was probably the initial problem too.
