Plugin throwing error 500 – no posts showing

Hi there,

I’m getting an error on a local version of a site I’ve built using Ajax Load More to load blog posts in the index.php template.

I noticed it suddenly started to throw an error 500 from the
ajax-load-more.min.js file:
Request failed with status code 500 ajax-load-more.min.js?ver=5.0.2:12

I can also see another error from the plugin trying to use WP admin ajax as follows:
http://localhost:8888/site-name/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=alm_query_posts&nonce=ec7242aa87&query_type=standard&id=&post_id=0&slug=home&canonical_url=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A8888%2Fsite-name%2Fnews%2F&posts_per_page=5&page=0&offset=0&post_type=post&repeater=default&seo_start_page=1&preloaded=false&preloaded_amount=0&order=DESC&orderby=date 500 (Internal Server Error)

So I am assuming they are both related.
I updated both WordPress and all plugins but it didn’t solve the issue. I also checked the posts to check they were published and their dates, which they are also fine.

Can anyone assist in helping me sort this error? Or have an idea why it would be failing?
