[Plugin: Theme My Login] Do custom passwords work with blog registration on multisite?

    Hi,

    Love the plugin but having problem getting the custom password module to work when a user creates a new blog/account.

    When I just sign up as a new user (and dont click the gimme a site button), the custom password module works fine. But, when I click the ‘gimme a site’ button to also create a blog, a random password is generated and the custom password does not work.

    Is this expected behaviour?

    No, it is not the expected behavior.

    Hi Jeff,

    Thanks for the quick response and the great plugin.

    Do you mean by, ‘it is not expected behaviour’, that it should work but is not working on my site, or, it does not work at all like that?

    If it should work, which hook does the plugin use to intercept the random password creation (and is this hook different to the hook used when just a user is created)?

    The multisite proccess uses a few different hooks to achieve it’s results. I suggest you look at the file theme-my-login/modules/custom-passwords/custom-passwords.php.
