[Plugin: The Events Calendar] WPML Support or Shortcodes

    Hello!

    I just wanted to know if you’re going to support WPML to translate events, categories, and so.

    If not, are you going to implement any shortcodes in order to be able to create our own “calendar page” and to be able to translate it with WPML (or any other translation plug-in)?

    I’ve been searching for shortcodes but I haven’t been able to find them. If there are, please write the link or the sortcodes.

    Using The Events Calendar Pro with WPML is something that I’m very interested in as well.

    Hey guys. Thanks for the note here. On the WPML side: definitely something we’re continually working on, and hope to have deployed sometime this summer. Not sure when exactly, it will probably be with 2.1 which we’re in early stages of now, but we understand there are folks using them together and are doing what we can on our end & with WPML’s support team to make it work.

    On the shortcode side: no, we don’t use them but we have template tags, which serve a similar purpose. Have you checked out the documentation page at http://tri.be/support/documentation to see if template tags could help you out? Let me know if not and I’ll do what I can to help.
