I’m still a little new to TEC. I just upgraded to The Events Calendar 2.0.1, and everything works fine. However, I’m trying to figure out how to show months other the current month in the mini-grid. So far I’m using the out of the box mini-table.php view. None of the template tags in the documentation seem to do exactly what I want. Thanks for your help!!

I’m not sure if TEC is designed to do what I’m looking for, but I did find this plugin which might provide the functionality I want. I hope this helps someone else!

The only problem with the Calendar plugin is that it has not been updated since 2010-7-11. Means to me that is not being actively worked on and may soon fail to work.

I prefer to stay with plugins that are active. Just sayin’.

True! However, there’s a lot of activity in the forums.

It just seems like TEC should support this feature out of the box. Is my plugin broken?

Hey guys. We actually updated the plugin here just a few weeks back so not sure where that 2010-7-11 date came from. We’ve had at least 2 releases since then 🙂

What you’re looking to do here regarding displaying multiple months in the calendar widget is not doable out of the box; we designed that widget to be super simple & lightweight (though future modifications are definitely on the radar), and to just display what’s happening this current month.

Thanks, roblagatta! That answers my question. [The other date was for the alternative plugin I posted above, not TEC.]
