[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Show calendar in widget?

    Hi,

    I am building a website with WordPress using the Thesis Theme.

    I need an events calendar, and this looked like a good option.
    My problem is that I need a calendar to display in the widget (like Ajax Calendar, a mini month view with clickable dates).

    Is this possible with The Events Calendar ?

    I don’t want to use “Posts” for events, is there another way ?

    I would like to be able to link to a calendar page from a mini version in the widget.

    As it is now, All I get in the widget is the title of my calendar, and it’s not even clickable?!

    Please help if you can.

    Hi,

    The current widget has a large number of fields you can choose to add or remove via the check boxes.

    As for the cal widget you request, it is possible. We just haven’t built it. I’ll add it to the list of requested features. If someone is interested in contributing it that would be awesome.

    I’ll just add before I begin, great plugin! Easy to use and modify. Thank you so much for your time put into developing this. I recently updated to the most recent version via wordpress and as soon as I reloaded my page a calendar popped up in the widget! and then disappeared. Am I hallucinating? I’ve looked everywhere in the backend to try and bring it back but cannot find a solution. Does this feature exist in the most recent release? If so, how do I activate it?

    if that happened it is a total accident (you might be hallucinating). the feature is in the queue but no one worked on it to my knowledge.
