    Hi! Now that I rolled back to 1.6.5, everything seems to be OK except that the link for "Calendar" is tied to:

    Whereas the calendar is not there, it's at

    How can I fix this?

    I'm pretty sure category/events/month is the correct URL in 1.6.5.

    I have no idea why it would be missing/changed -- did you remove and reinstall 1.6.5?

    (I'm just a fellow user.)

    Hi bwp, I did indeed remove and reinstall 1.6.5. Hoping that didn't screw something up....!

    Beats me; that's what I WOULD have done. What's the practical result for you right now? Can you access new calendar entries at the /category/events URL? What exactly is mismatched?

    I mean, if everything's pointing to and working with the /category/events URL, do you really have a problem?

    Adam, removing/reinstalling 1.6.5 shouldn't have screwed anything up. Might be worth trying a plugin like the Options Editor to just clear out any existing plugin-related settings so you're "starting from a clean slate." It also is worth noting that after activating, sometimes saving your permalinks (not changing them; just saving them) will resolve issues like this.

    @bwp: I restored 1.6.5 and all seems well EXCEPT for the calendar view which still has the glitch in the path name.

    The trouble was that the "Calendar" button's link was generated by Events Calendar code, ie.:

    <a class='tec-button-off' href='<?php echo events_get_gridview_link(); ?>'><?php _e('Calendar', $spEvents->pluginDomain)?></a>

    So events_get_gridview_link() is generating the wrong URL.

    But, I realized I can just hard-code the URL in there so I've replaced that PHP code with the precise link to the calendar. Problem solved.

    The "Event List" button, however, I realize ALSO doesn't work and I can't figure out what that URL is supposed to be. It takes you to

    But that gives you a 404 error.

    For now I'll hard-code it to link to the homepage, and keep my fingers crossed that 2.0 solves everything (once template tag info is released and I can try and make the switch!)

    @roblagatta - alas, updating permalinks had no effect, but thanks for the suggestion!
