    Hi, joranvanliempt! Thanks for your use of the plugin, we sure do appreciate the support. Your overall list page loop should be controlled by what you have set in Events –> Settings, in the General tab. There is an option: “Number of events to show per page in the loop.”

    Does that get you where you need to be? Or are you saying that the plugin is ignoring what you’ve set there? Let me know and we’ll follow-up on our end as needed.

    You are right, the plugin is ignoring the value (50) I entered in NUMBER OF EVENTS…

    It’s working for the events page: http://www.zazimusic.com/events/
    it’s NOT working for the category pages: http://www.zazimusic.com/events/categorie/zazi-speelt/

    Hi there Joranvanliempt. Thanks for the follow-up; happy to help you out here, but I do want to set expectations that we generally only hit this forum 1x a week. (If you want daily support we encourage users to buy a PRO license and bring their discussions to the forum at http://tri.be/support/forums).

    I’m not sure why this would be happening; I just tested on my end with 2.0.9 and the setting I applied under Events -> Settings for the total # of events to show in the loop also applied to category pages. Is it possible you just don’t have 50 events in that category? Otherwise, what happens if you set it something lower (say, 4)? Does that carry over?

    Let me know and I can try troubleshooting this further.

    as you can see HERE: there are enough gigs to show.

    When I set the no. of post to 4; it carries over to the main gig list, but NOT to the category list.

    Hi there joran. Thanks for the follow-up; that is indeed a bizarre issue. Assuming you’re up-to-date with WordPress and The Events Calendar, my main guess at this point is that its a conflict of some kind with either another plugin or your theme. Can you try deactivating your plugins one-by-one, to see if one of them could be causing this? If that doesn’t do the trick you may also want to try reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme temporarily, just to see if the issue persists there.

    Let me know the results and we can try to troubleshoot as needed.

    thank you. I did exactly what you said, and look here!
    It seems the problem is in the theme. In the Twenty Eleven theme it works as espected! 🙂
    Good for you 🙂 but! can you give me a hint where to look furher?
    What settings could cause the event plugin setting to overrule?

    Hi again joran. Wonderful – progress is always good.

    To answer your last question; what theme are you on? Have you already reached out to the theme dev on this? While they may not be able to help, it’s probably also worth a shot…if they identify something we’re doing wrong in our code or that goes against WP best practices, we’ll of course modify the plugin as needed. Let me know.
