    When in my settings, after installing and activating the plugin, I went looking for the slug as stated in the tutorial video. I do not have this option. Here is what is available to me:
    1. Default view for the Events
    2. Number of events to show per page in the loop
    3. Show Comments
    4. Multiday Event Cutoff
    5. Enable Google Maps
    6. Debug Mode

    Also, when creating a test event and previewing it, I don’t see this event in calendar view. It looks like a block of data. I have to hit “back to events” to see my event list or calendar view options. When looking at both of these, there is no upcoming events. Nothing is listed in the calender view either. Why is this? Didn’t I just create an event that should be listed? Please advise.

    Ok, so I figured out how to get the event I created to show up on the calendar. I still need to see the slug for the event page. The only way I can get to it now is to use the preview link. Any suggestions on why the slug is not in my settings?

    Hey guys, thanks for reaching out and for posting your experiences thus far. So it sounds like at this point, the issue of finding an event is resolved (though let me know if you’re still having issues there ionn1s).

    The slug options will not appear if you don’t have permalinks enabled on your site. By going to Settings –> Permalinks and enabling a structure like /%postname%/ (or anything other than the defaults) you will have the slug options available under Settings –> The Events Calendar. Let me know if after giving that a go you still experience issues.

    As an aside, we’re working on adding a message indicating this upon activation for users down the road as it does seem like a lot of folks share your experience. We want to keep that from happening 🙂
