[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Installing plugin caused glitch in dashboard

Recently I downloaded The Events Calendar version 3.8.1 for the organization I work for to display a calendar on our site.

However, after I installed and activated the plugin, my entire dashboard is just the first page for editing the calendar. Every link when clicked reroutes to that page and in essence we are locked out of using the website.

I can’t deactivate the plugin since when I click on the plugin link it just reroutes to The Events Calendar main editing area.

I know that the usual protocol would be to use an FTP server to extract that plugin, but we currently don’t have access to the hosting login needed to do so.

Is there anything else I can do to remedy this issue?
