  • Your Events Calendar time settings should be controlled by the broader date/time settings you’ve configured under Settings -> General. Are you finding that not to be the case?

Ah, I think I understand what you’re saying…you just want to change to 24 hour mode within the admin console when setting up new events? Specifically, with relation to those two dropdowns?

    Yes, that’s right

Just a heads up that I’m still looking into this for you. First dev who took a look was stumped; so I’ve passed it on to another. It’s possible that this is a bug in the code but if not we’ll try and point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the replies I really appreciate it. Hope that there is a solution.

Hey there. I spoke with our dev about this over the weekend. It looks like our admin interface will always show the time in 12hr (am/pm) format, since that’s just how our plugin is set-up. This probably won’t change unless there is a lot of demand for it.

On the other hand, the settings will affect the showing of the time in the front-end, and as best as we can tell, this is working just fine. Are you having problems on the frontend too?

Hi…yes it is affecting the frontend too.

Weird. Thanks for confirming. The best suggestion I can offer up at this point is the current code, to see if it resolves your issue. We’re currently somewhere between 2.0.3 and 2.1; since enough templating changes are taking place between these releases, a lot of the bugs users were reporting in 2.0.3 are fixed with this new 2.1 code. If you’re interested in giving it a shot please email me (rob at tri.be) and I’ll send your way.

I think i’ve the same problem.
(i want to have the admin interface in 24h format instead of 12hr (am/pm) )

Do you have any idea about how to modify this ?

(i suppose it will not change in the next version)

Hey Mouzet: have you tried the new code referenced in my last post, to see if it does the trick? That’d be my first suggestion – email me for that and we can take it from there. Thanks!
