(once we have the bugs out of the template and have done the next release)
copy the grid template from the views folder in the plugin and put it in your theme folder. Add anything you like to the top of that theme above the header or below the calendar.

I’m not sure if this is the same question Zendarin had, but I want to be able to have anyone come to my page, add their event (with a captchka), and it show up for the administrator to approve (sorta like a comment). Any ideas?
different question. You are asking for front end posting, which we have made a plugin for, but has not been upgraded to support events. That sort of a big hairball. If someone wanted to use our (non-opensourced) plugin to take a crack at it, I’d be happy to share the code.
I’d be willing to take a crack at it, if the work to add events isn’t too tremendous.
