• I have a question regarding how The Events Calendar calls out the browser “Tab” title name.

Here is the the line that describes the browser Tab Title name for ALL my theme pages, except ones associated with The Events Calendar:

    <title>rvlphotographs – About rvlphotogrpahs</title>

However, that equivalent line for pages associated with the plug-in The Events Calendar reads as follows:

    <title>rvlphotographsUpcoming Events – </title>

I would obviously like the browser tabs to match for all pages.

I understand that information is usually stored in my theme’s header.php file. But if I’m using a plug-in, where does that tab info reside?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!!!

  • Hi there rvlphotographs, sorry about the delay in getting you a response here. At this point we have the title tag elements mostly controlled within the plugin’s core files…and we’re aware of the particular issue you noted here. This is on the docket for our 2.1 release, at which point you should have much more flexibility over the title tags on your site. Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim though.
