• I noticed that the EventBrite API field is in each profile role. Is it possible to either move this to be associated with the plugin rather than a role? Or, somehow limit this from showing up to other roles other than administrator?

    Thanks for this awesome plugin!

  • Glad you like the plugin.

Right now it is set to be by user, hence putting it in the profile. The credentials from the post author are then used to validate with Eventbrite. Meaning if you have an eb account and you create an event, then it is tied to the user who created the account.

Are you asking for the ability to have one global Eventbrite account for all events handled by the plugin? You can kind of do this now by creating a specific user for events and have anyone managing posts simply make the post author this user.

    Thanks Shane.
Well, actually subscribers when editing their profile page have access to their “own” eventbrite API and so I’m wanting to limit that role option. And yes, I’ll be wanting to only use one account at this time for all events, so really that is not a big deal as I’ll have a specific user to create the event(s).

Ok – I’ll add a setting to the admin to limit who can have an eventbrite account by role.

    Wow, thanks Shane!

oh to be clear – it may not happen for a month or so =). The to do list is fairly long.
