    Hi all,

I just installed v1.5.4 of The Events Calendar. When I go to http://www.mysite.com/category/events/ all I see is a page with just a small calendar and no style / theme from my website. View source shows nothing except the generated calendar code, none of the theme html, no <head> section or anything except the calendar code. I was hoping to just display the calendar on a ‘calendar’ page in my site. Is there a shortcode I should be using?

Also, any word on a small calendar view widget instead of a list? Thanks!!

Ahh… the default calendar templates (ex. gridview.php) calls for header.php and footer.php. So if your theme only consists of a single index.php the calendar will display on a page with no content from the theme.

    hey james,

glad you could answer your own question! Can you make this thread resolved?

As for calendar view, its in the roadmap, but probably won’t happen quite yet.
