[Resolved] [Plugin: The Events Calendar] Broken permlainks to event pages

  • Hi

Plugin looks great and planning on buying the pro version but I’m having a problem with permalinks to the event pages.

When I’ve got permalinks set as default in WP settings (i.e. ugly ?tribe_events=eventname) works fine but when I set to use custom post name permalinks i.e.: /%postname%/ I get 404 on all the event pages.

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers

    John

Hey there johnmcelborough. Thanks for the note here, and for your words/interest.

Odd that you’d get an error with %postname% as your permalink structure; this is what I use on my testing environment consistently and I haven’t encountered problems. Might this be an issue you can solve by flushing the permalinks? IE, merely going into Settings -> Permalinks, resaving the page (no need to make changes, just save and you’ll be set)…and then reviewing on the frontend again. 9 times out of 10 for issues like this, that permalink save will do the trick.

Give that a go, and let me know if not…from there I can try to keep troubleshooting.
