Just tried the update (luckily made a backup beforehand – PEOPLE TAKE NOTE!!!) and right away had a bunch of issues. First off, my calendar page just didn’t display at all. I would only see a blank white page. I fixed this by creating an events folder for my child theme (used to be in my parent theme) and copying the main view templates (grid, list, single) into the folder and uploading. I then had to make a couple adjustments to get the calendar view working (some of the code changed in the view templates) and could not get the list view to work at all. List view kept going to individual events and at this point I decided to revert to the previous (working fine for me) version. Another problem I noticed is that in the calendar view, the hover over popup was displaying the full content of the event which is not good because if you have lots of content for the event this takes up lots of room.
Bottom line seems to me is that there are bugs with this release, at least when upgrading from a previous version where you have customized template views. Hope they get fixed soon! Make sure you backup before updating so you can revert back if there are problems!!!
