Does anyone know of a plugin that will automatically generate schema markup for Youtube videos that are embedded in a post?

  • Are you looking for a recommendation for one? Did you find one you liked when you searched the Plugin section with the phrase “structured data”, as that is what you want.

If I found one I “liked” I wouldn’t need to have posted this thread would I?

Anyone else with an actual helpful contribution?

Actually, you never stated what you tried to solve the problem and it sounded like you hadn’t done anything, hence my question. Now it sounds like you’re upset you have to provide some details. Easier to catch Bees with honey rather than vinegar.

Hi, take a look at Schema plugin.

It has support for VideoObject structured data. So, once you’ve configured the plugin settings and enabled video object on a schema type, the plugin will automatically discover embedded videos within content and include it in the structured data output.
