Does this still seem to be the case with the latest version of the plugin (currently v3.2)? This was a problem for an earlier version of the plugin when viewing the settings page using Internet Explorer, but shouldn’t be an issue any longer.

Ah, contrary to my initial interpretation of your post, you may in fact not be referencing a bug. You may be requesting either:

    1. Multiline matching : being able to search for, and then replace, text that exists on multiple lines in the original post.
    2. Multiline replacement strings : being able to specify a single replacement string on multiple lines (rather than having to do it within one line as currently required by the plugin)

Both are under consideration for future inclusion in the plugin. (No timetable is currently in mind though.)

I sure could use a version of this plugin that will do multiline search and multiline rplace in the posts and database.

Serch Regex plugin can’t handle that. 🙁

I can’t be the only one that wants to replace some old manually added ads that were multiline javascript.
