The Gravity Forms +Custom Post Types plugin provides among other things the ability to populate a dropdown in a gravity form with a custom taxonomy.

In my project the user can select variations from taxonomy-based dropdowns on a product order form I’m building.

I’d love to show the image I’m supplying for each taxonomy term beside the text – this is quite a visual thing as it’s choosing colors, fabrics etc. But I can’t work out how to hack that plugin to include taxonomy images in the front end fm output.

Has anyone done this or know how it might be done? Thanks in advance.

  • I hacked something together with jQuery in the end, displaying a div containing the relevant taxonomy image thumbnails when the appropriate conditional field was shown.
