[resolved] [Plugin: Taxonomy Drill-Down] Query multiple times to eliminate extras? (3 posts)

I have been playing around all day with the Taxonomy Drill Down menu. I would like to be able select the first dropdown, and have it filter the next selection. In my case it's cars, so if I pick Ford, then the next drop down models, will only show ford models I have. I had this sort of working by selecting one, hit search, and repeat.

Is there a way to force it to make a query after each selection?

Ideally I want to make a dropdown like on the top of this site:
    http://www.wingswest.com/catalog/

While I am ok with how it currently works, I think it would be more convenient for people if it narrowed down the search, even if it takes a bit longer.

Hmmm I tried that, even pasted his code in, and it won't work for me. WP 3.1, and QMT v 1.4. Commenting that if/else statement removes all dropdown boxes on the menu, leaving just the title, search, and reset.

I'm not terribly worried about it, but it would be great to get it working that way.

Great work by the way! I love this menu widget :)
