[Plugin: Take Control Of The WordPress Toolbar] Changing howdy text

Great plugin 🙂

I wanted to change the ‘Howdy’ text to ‘Welcome,’ but when I entered this into the field in the admin panel, it just showed the same text in the menu bar…

How can I make the menu say ‘Welcome, [user]’ rather than just ‘Welcome’ or some other plain text string?

I tried de-activating and re-activating again, but I just get plain text in the toolbar for the welcome message, rather than it showing the person’s name too?
