[Plugin: SyntaxHighlighter Evolved] WYSIWYG Editor disappears after activating

  • Just like I said in the title. The plugin works great, but I don’t have the WYSIWYG editor anymore. I just have the HTML buttons, the visual mode just disappears.

Try temporarily disabling all other plugins and then clearing your browser cache. It could be a conflict.

Also try visiting Settings -> Video Quicktags -> Advanced and changing the toolbar line number.

Sorry, but I don’t have Video Quicktags in my settings

Wow, I fail at reading. For some reason I was thinking this thread was about my Viper’s Video Quicktags plugin and not SyntaxHighlighter. Sorry.

Anyway, disable all other plugins and clear your browser cache still applies. This plugin is in use on my blog and on every single WordPress.com blog and I haven’t heard of any reports of a broken WYSIWYG editor, so it must be something on your end.
