[Plugin: SyntaxHighlighter Evolved] Syntax highlighter toggle time out?

  • Often syntax highlighting will fail to load the first time I visit my page. Refreshing the page, it will load. It seems that this is related to a time-out issue, and that other scripts running before syntax-highlight are forcing the timeout, but have their data cached so that reload gives the highlighter a chance.

Is there any way to have syntax highlighter be more patient about timing out (if that is what is going on), or to give it higher priority in the load list when there are many plugins loading on a page?

    Thanks!
