Installed plugin on a new site with the incorrect time set in general settings WP, changed setting, although feed has updated several times. The time stamp keeps showing time as was set when originally installed = off by 4 hours?

    Hi comanco,
Syndicate Press shows the time for each article as provided by the feed publisher. If the feed publisher changes the timestamp of the article then you would see it change on the SP output.

Remember that the SP output is cached (and refreshes the cache every 1 hour by default). If you want to clear the cache to see the latest article updates from a feed publisher, click the "Clear Output Cache" button on the SP Admin panel.

At present, the time value shown for each article does not have anything to do with your local WordPress time settings.

You can change the format of the time/date on the "Display Settings" tab of SP. For details on the time format string to use, click the link below the timestamp format text field.

I do think that it would be helpful to show the article timestamp in the same timezone as the WordPress site that is showing the articles, so I will add this as a new feature on a future release.

Thanks for bringing up the topic and have a great day!

    Best Regards,
    SP Developer
