[Plugin: Suffusion bbPress Pack] Topic display issue with both IE and Firefox

    I have different issues in IE and Firefox, in the same place – viewing a topic. I’ve linked to screenshots because the site isn’t ready for visitors yet.

    In the Firefox version, the text of the topic is cut off by a box that appears close around it. In IE the topic text displays but the header part with ‘Author’ and the menus is too short causing the menu to wrap.

    I’m new to WordPress etc. (discovered it five days ago!) but I think I’m doing things correctly. I’ve tried both bbPress theme packages given in bbPress froum settings (bbPress defauilt and twentyten) and rebuilt the Suffusion bbPress files. That made no difference. If I activate a different theme for the site the above problems go away, but I really like Suffusion.

    I’m using WP 3.4.1, bbPress 2.1 (for global forums), BP 1.5.6 (with group forums too, which work) and a few others which I can’t see would interfere here.

    Well, strictly speaking, this is an incompatibility between the latest version of bbPress (2.1) and the Suffusion theme rather than an issue with Suffusion bbPress Pack. Basically if you downgrade your bbPress version to 2.0.x you should be okay.

    In any case I have submitted a new version of Suffusion for approval – once that is live you should be fine.

    Hi, has this now been fixed? I’ve updated to the latest version as of today and I’m still experiencing the same issue.

    Yes same problems here. Early days still for me with both Suffusion and wordpress come to that Sayontan, but i am definitely advocate of your work, Suffusion is pretty cool. However I need to make a decision about if to rollback bbPress or await any approval of a new Suffusion version. I wonder how long this process takes for WP? and I take it you are talking about a later version than 4.2.6 which as yet I have not advanced to?

    4.2.6 does fix the issue, to the best of my knowledge. The post from @nightsun.73 was on the same day that this version was approved, but a few hours before.
