The plug in stopped working sometime recently and I’m not sure when.
I just noticed it when trying to send an email.
I got hung at the no are you sure button then fixed that by replacing the ,’s with .’s.

Now it gets passed that but nothing actually sends. It just says sent.
    Test do work.

So then I changed it from my gmail that I have always used to my domain name email and get a new error.
I made the new user account and used my working admin@domain.com email.
“Message failed! Check your settings and check with your hosting provider
    Could not instantiate mail function.”

I see no where to edit settings?
    Any insight?

  • @mobber79,

After you made the new account did you go into the Subscribe2 settings and choose that user as the email sender?

Bear in mind that if you are sending emails manually (from Send Mail) the emails come form the logged in user so you will probably need to log in as your new user to make sure the emails come from the correct email address.

Test emails send as it’s not likely you would spam yourself so single emails back to the sender usually work.

If none of this works you need to speak to your host about what email restrictions they are applying and how you can configure your site to comply with them.

Hmmm I didn’t do anything and I think it started working after your update so it must have been broken from 3.4.
Gonna try a few other things.

Hi guys, any updates on this?
