[Resolved] [Plugin: Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Email being sent with WP-Mail-SMTP

  • I haven’t been able to get Subscribe to Comments Reloaded to send any emails from by blog, although I’ve tried many of the different types it can send.

I do receive email from own WordPress comment notification, including the emails for the comments I made to test this plugin.

I use the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin to send email which could be the source of the problem.

Another possible source is that I use MySQL version 5.0.88. I use the Optware Linux distribution and that is the latest version available.

I also have the WordPress Thread Comment plugin, but I don’t think that is the source of the problem. This plugin also supports notification email, but it couldn’t get it send emails, either.

I doubt I have a “multisite environment”. There is only one blog on my server.

    Hi there,

your MySQL version is fine, as long as I know. I guess it’s a conflict with your other plugins. I would deactivate them all, see if StCR works and then start reactivating the others one by one, until you find the culprit.

I switched from WP-Mail-SMTP to the Configure-SMTP plugin and that seemed to have solved the problem.
